Description
Lavender Massage Cream with Magnesium (32 fl oz) to Relieve Muscle Aches & Pains, Promote Relaxation, Improve Sleep, with Essential Oil
CB Naturals Magnesium Massage Cream will give your clients the benefits of magnesium while working well in all modalities from Swedish to Deep Tissue. A contracted muscle fiber cannot release without magnesium,[1] and most of your clients are likely to be magnesium deficient.[2] Give yourself the magnesium advantage with this cream containing 333 mg of magnesium per teaspoon (250 mg as Magnesium Chloride, 83 mg as Magnesium Sulfate). As a massage therapist, I have been using this cream on my massage clients (and myself!) since 2019.
In the massage context, a magnesium cream works far better than a magnesium spray or gel, which have little-to-no glide and are often stingy and tacky feeling. Compare with Therablend Magnesium Calming Cream — better price, better ingredients, better performance, more magnesium (according to Massage Warehouse). Gallon and half-gallon sizes will be available in the near future.
Magnesium is an essential mineral our bodies use for a wide range of functions,[3] yet most people do not get enough of this mineral.[4] Fortunately, topical (“transdermal”) magnesium application is an easy way to increase magnesium levels.[5] Magnesium deficiency can be a contributing factor in a wide range of diseases and bodily discomforts like sore muscles, achy joints and poor sleep quality.[6,7,8] People have been using transdermal magnesium therapy for many years, such as soaking in Epsom salts and in mineral springs.
Ingredients: CB Naturals Magnesium Massage Cream contains two magnesium sources[9] plus other beneficial ingredients —
Magnesium Chloride – sourced from the Dead Sea, reduces muscle cramps and spasms, improves sleep quality, relieves anxiety and can increase energy levels, among other benefits[10,11]
Magnesium Sulfate – otherwise known as Epsom salt, topical application relieves minor sprains, bruises, muscle aches or discomfort, joint stiffness or soreness, and tired feet[12,13]
Distilled Water – only distilled water will result in a pure final product
Aloe Vera – moisturizes, soothes irritation, reduces redness, promotes healing
Shea Butter – moisturizing, anti-inflammatory, skin healing
Mango Butter – non-greasy, moisturizing, anti-aging potential
Fractionated Coconut Oil – light, non-greasy, hydrates, soothing for sensitive skin, non-comedogenic
Avocado Oil – improves skin texture, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant-rich protection against free radicals and environmental damage, may stimulate collagen synthesis and reduce signs of aging
Hazelnut Oil – hydrates, anti-inflammatory, strengthens the skin barrier, controls oily skin, natural astringent, non-comedogenic
Meadowfoam Seed Oil – adds glide, moisturizes, antioxidant skin protection, balances sebum production, non-comedogenic
Essential Oils – the only scents used are from essential oils, providing a clean, fresh fragrance
Emulsifying Wax NF – water-soluble magnesium and rich, skin-pleasing oils have to be held together by an emulsifier that plays well with magnesium
Preservative – the broad spectrum preservative containing propylene glycol, diazolidinyl urea and iodopropynyl butylcarbamate will best ensure that this cream will be safe for you to use through (and beyond) its expiration date.
